Receiving the Offer - Negotiation

Michael will now, on your behalf, receive the offer from the Purchaser.

The negotiation process:

1) The Purchasers' Realtor presents the offer to you and/or Michael. The Purchasers' Realtor explains the contents of the offer.
2) After the offer has been presented, you and Michael are left to discuss the offer. Your options are to either accept, counter or refuse the offer.
3) If you counter the offer (which means you make changes to your original offer to best suit your needs and send it back to the Purchasers as a new offer) then, the Purchasers and their realtor will discuss the details of the counter offer. Then it becomes their decision whether to accept, counter or refuse the counter offer.
4) The goal is to negotiate the best price, dates, inclusions, etc. for you. Michael will do his very best to do so. Michael will always treat your offer like it were his own.
5) When you and the Purchasers agree, and all the changes are initialed by both parties, you have an accepted offer.

Once the offer has been accepted and the deposit is received, the next step is to work towards getting a firm offer by having the conditions removed.
