Working Towards a Firm Offer
In order to achieve a firm offer, all conditions of the offer
must be removed, which is fulfilling all of the subjects in
the offer within the required timeframe. Your responsibility
as a seller will of course depend on the conditions of the
offer. But, in general you will have to:
| 1) |
Have your home available for a home inspector to check
your home for the purchasers. |
| 2) |
Fill out the Property Disclosure Statement, if you haven't
already. |
| 3) |
Fulfill any conditions, or subject to's, for your benefit. |
| 4) |
If necessary, sign an addendum to the contract removing
all conditions. Michael will provide this documentation
when necessary. |
Once all conditions have been removed you will have a firm
offer, in other words a binding contract.
